RACE COURSE & AID STATIONS

It is the altitude which shall will take your breath away. One will be riding and running from some 3350m to nearly 3550m (approx.) It's our 4th attempt at Duathlons at crazy high altitude averaging. 12,000 ft. Live Sceneries & Paintings will be all around there for you.

5 Aid Stations along with 1 Medical Station will be put up in the race as they shall be enough to keep you well hydrated and energyful all the way to and fro.

The race course is almost traffic free on Tar Road.

INCLUSIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS

Every runner is entitled to have a quality Tuffman tee shirt, goodie bag, timed bib & e-certificate (only for 63K Cycle + 10K Run & 50K Cycle + 5K Run), post race refreshment, finisher's medal, nutrition, hydration, photos & videos all throughout.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FIRST TIME VISITORS AT LADAKH

Considering the altitude of Leh and the requirement of acclimatization, riders registering for this event are required to arrive in Leh at least 3-4 days prior to the event. Proper acclimatization towards the weather and altitude shall be there for every participant / person accompanying the participant. We advise people who come by flight to adjust to the change in altitude by taking complete rest on arrival and do less of physical activity, drink more water, do not intoxicate and eat easy light food. We also advise you to reach timely, a day prior to the bib expo to adjust well to the climate and altitude change.

Also, please carry enough medicines for Headache, poor appetite / nausea / vomiting, fatigue / weakness.

MTB BIKE

You have to carry your own MTB bike or you may rent out good quality MTB bikes from local leh market in just approximately INR 1000 per day. Please google the phrase “MTB cycles on rental in leh" and there are numerous results for the same, who will give you the rented MTB bikes with helmets on your mutually agreed cost. Riding with a helmet is mandatory.

Please don’t forget to mention that you need the MTB cycle with helmet for duathlon for the event on 10th September, 2019.

We advise you to rent out cycle on 9th September, 2019 too for assuring your smooth ride on the race day i.e. 10th September, 2019.

Tuffman holds no responsibility for liasoning with the cycle rental dealers.

CANCELLATION & WITHDRAWL POLICY

Any requests received before 31st May 2019 will be eligible for a 50% refund of event and accommodation entry fee paid. Any requests received post this date will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
